The historical charm of Raheen House really caught my eye. Old style furnishings complemented the beautiful gardens, creating a delightful setting. The double room offered a spacious area for relaxation, which I appreciated. Dinner was a highlight. the food was skillfully prepared and delicious. Breakfast had generous offerings, including fresh fruit and well-executed eggs. I did find the decor needing updates, as there were spider webs and signs of age which distracted from the overall experience. The water pressure in the shower was inconsistent, which made it less enjoyable. Despite a few drawbacks, the serenity of the surroundings and attentive staff made my stay memorable.

The room had a large sash window, brightening the space with natural light, and the high Victorian ceilings added a touch of grandeur. The property also featured an ample outdoor seating area, making it pleasant during nice weather.
I encountered a few hiccups, such as the unnerving noise from the night cleaning, which kept me awake for a good portion of the night. the water pressure in the shower could have been better, and there was a boiler issue, resulting in no hot water for my stay. Plus, the surrounding areas, particularly the carpets, were worn and could use some attention.

Couples looking for a nice getaway
The hotel atmosphere is beautiful, the gardens are like a dream, we actually spent time sipping wine outside. And let me tell you, I was pleased they handed me fresh fruit at breakfast, well, kind of fresh, but the eggs were executed perfectly.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what it offers, I guess it was fair enough.

Absolutely loved the charming atmosphere here, with delightful gardens to stroll through. Our room was super cozy—with glass doors leading to a lovely little garden. Evening tea in the lounge was a real treat!
But dear, my shower had water pressure that seemed to have stage fright. And that delightful birdsong? More like a morning concert that I didn’t audition for!
